Quanmax, a well-known embedded computing technology provider, is thrilled to introduce a brand new Mini-ITX motherboard, named MITX-DNV0 Series, for integration to dense low-power network, and enterprise storage systems.


Powered by Intel’s Latest-generation Ultra-low-power Server-grade Processors

MITX-DNV0 Series is built based on Intel’s third-generation server-grade SoC processors, Atom® C3000 Series. Besides the significant improvement of up to 4 times storage performance, 3.4 times network performance and 2.3 times computing performance in comparison to the previous generation, some models support Intel® QuickAssist Technology (QAT) to accelerate and compress cryptographic workloads, for freeing up more CPU cycles and enabling other value-added differentiating functionality. It is an ideal entry-level platform for system integrators to build high-density, low-power network and enterprise storage systems, such as firewalls, router, switch, UTM, VPN, gateway, SD-WAN, vCPE, server or NAS.


Flexible Network Configuration

In addition to great network performance improvement mentioned above, MITX-DNV0 Series comes with 6 GbE LAN ports for users to flexibly allocate network resource and / or to control network access based on security policies they create. Secondly, there is a PCIe x8 socket onboard for LAN port expansion or application-specific expansion (e.g. TSN) via a NIC module. Finally, it reserves a mPCIe socket (shared with mSATA), allowing system integrators to include Wi-Fi, 3G or LTE wireless capability to the system.


Huge-capacity and Flexible Storage Media

MITX-DNV0 Series supports 6 high-speed SATA 3.0 interfaces for massive data storage. For networking-focused applications, system developers can choose mSATA SSD (mSATA socket shared with mPCIe), M.2 SSD (Key B) and / or onboard eMMC as the storage media to build a thinner / smaller device. eMMC is, moreover, a storage solution of choice to further enhance system security and data integrity.


Higher-level Protection against Cyber Attacks

MITX-DNV0 Series integrates latest TPM 2.0 security chip, an enhanced hardware-based security solution, to automatically manage user authentication, network access and data protection, allowing system developer to build a more secure system.
