Quanmax’s QDSP-6000 Series is a collection of fanless Box PCs based on Intel® Haswell or Broadwell U-Series ultra-low-power processors, designed for a variety of graphics-intensive commercial or light-duty industrial applications, such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, banking, public service or manufacturing information visualization.


Flexible Video / Audio Interface Configuration

QDSP-6000 Series has two HDMI ports and makes easy the dual-display applications. For example, double-sided kiosk is a cost-effective solution in digital signage, self-ordering or self-service applications because it can help business owners significantly reduce hardware investment. QDSP-6000 Series is exactly a platform that can be immediately integrated into such kind of device without additional adapter. As for audio interfaces, QDSP-6000 Series provides flexible options as well. Besides the digital audio signal carried over HDMI and a set of stereo Line-out, Line-in and Mic-in jacks, it has a S/PDIF connector for outputting digital multi-channel surround sound signals to an external high-fidelity audio system to enhance 3D audio effect in a multimedia presentation.

QDSP-6000 Series supports two generations of Intel® U-Series Core™ i or Celeron® processors, including 4th Gen. Haswell and 5th Gen. Broadwell. Users can flexibly choose an appropriate platform based on their performance requirements and budget considerations. In general, Broadwell models deliver superior visual experience with up to 24% better graphics performance and up to 50% faster video conversion than Haswell models can do.


Resistant against Harsh Environmental Conditions

In outdoor or non-ideal indoor applications, systems may be exposed to harsh environmental conditions, such as high / low temperatures, wind-blown sand / dust, and groundborne vibration from street traffic / machine operation. QDSP-6000 Series has several ruggedized designs to ensure reliable operation under tough conditions, including:

  • fanless cooling design to prevent dust absorbed from outside environment and to avoid vibration generated from the system itself;
  • non-ventilation sealed housing to block dust wind-blown from outside environment;
  • rugged mechanical design to protect sensitive components from groundborne vibration damage;
  • aluminum chassis with cooling fins to quickly remove the heat for minimizing overheating damage to the system; and
  • extended operating temperature range design for partial models allowing installation at high / low temperatures.
